The liner is positioned inside the barrel adjacent to screw elements, making its inner wall particularly susceptible to wear and corrosion from processed materials.

- Enhanced Cr content improves oxidation resistance, high temperature stability, and corrosion resistance
- CrB additives (microhardness 4000-4200DPH) significantly increase alloy strength
- Optimized WC content prevents segregation issues common in traditional alloys
- Hard phase increased to approximately 50% compared to conventional 10-30%
- Rockwell hardness HRC56-64 (typically controlled at HRC58-60)
- Service life 3-5 times longer than WR5 or CPM10V materials
- Temperature Resistance: 600°C maximum
