Industry-first Innovations- deposition-clad technology

February 11, 2026

Bloom is dedicated to providing comprehensive extrusion machine component solutions for clients across diverse industries worldwide. Our focus on technological R&D, in collaboration with the Northwestern Polytechnical University Technology Transfer Center, drives continuous innovation and product advancement. Today I'd like to share you more details about exclusive deposition-clad nickel-based alloy liner.

Under observation at 500× magnification with a metallographic microscope, the deposition-clad OS60 alloy exhibits significantly finer grain size compared to laser-clad and vacuum-sintered alloys. Moreover, its grains are uniform in size, fine and evenly distributed, with a dense structure and no segregation present. This microstructure further confirms its advantages in performance stability, impact resistance, and wear resistance.

The Rockwell hardness of the deposited Ni60 coating can consistently reach HRC 58–62, which is significantly higher than that achieved by vacuum sintering (HRC 52–56) and laser cladding (HRC 50–55). This places it at the advanced level of comparable products from Germany and Japan, with wear resistance more than double that of the latter two processes.
